Samsung might not be having the best time in the corporate world but its handsets are still doing it proud.
According to uSwitch's Mobile Tracker, the company's Galaxy S II handset has kept it at the top of the mobile charts, beating the likes of rivals Apple and HTC.
The company said the Galaxy was enjoying its success thanks to its new launch on May 1st, which boosted its market share. It also sweetened up some magazine editors winning a range of "Editor’s Choice awards".
Ernest Doku at uSwitch adds that another reason for the success is because retailers are actually offering decent deals.
Despite sitting at the top of the charts, HTC is close behind, with six different models including the original Wildfire and Desire handsets in the top 10.
There's a good chance Samsung's position will be compromised when the HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D crop up, which are both introducing glasses-free 3D.
Although Samsung is enjoying pride of place above Apple's iPhone 4, there are plenty of rumours about an iPhone product refresh doing the rounds.
Android powers 8 of the top 10 handsets.
